Bichectomy
Bichectomy is popularly known as cheek thinning surgery.
In this process:
-
By removing the bichat (fat) pads located on the inside of the cheeks, the face is made thinner, more defined and with sharp lines.
-
It is especially preferred by people who want a more triangular, V-shaped face profile.
Purpose: To reduce the appearance of a chubby or round face and make facial features more aesthetically pleasing.
